Cookie Islands

About a month ago, my class was studying landforms. I brought in all kinds of candy, icing, and cookies so that the kids could make a cookie island that had some of the landforms on it that we had studied. It was a lot of fun, so I told the boys that they could also make cookie islands. So, on Friday of that week we turned off the TV, spread out all of our "materials" and had island making family time. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from that evening.
